Our Music

Full choir and guests join us for Easter Sunday service, 2024.

Choir

Do you love to sing?

Do you love to be part of a community?

Do you love being a part of something bigger?

Why not come out and sing in the St. Luke's United Church Choir?

Now is a great time to give it a try. Practices are Thursday evenings at 6:45 p.m. in the church sanctuary.

Contact Music Director Kevin MacIlreith for more information

music@stlukesunited.ca

Also, practice occurs each Sunday at 9:30 a.m. before the worship service.

New members are always welcome! If interested in joining our musical community, please email: music@stlukesunited.ca

The choir provides musical leadership in service music and prepares anthems for our Sunday morning services.

We invite you to come and sing with us. All ages welcome, no musical experience is necessary, just a love of singing!

Share Your Gifts

Praise and worship teams offer an opportunity to sing or play an instrument in a small ensemble. If you sing, play guitar, bass, drums or wind instruments, come and sign up to be a part of a team in selected worship services throughout the year.

At St. Luke's we have a special interest in young developing musicians. If you are a young singer or instrumentalist looking for a nurturing environment to share sacred music and develop your craft, contact our music director at music@stlukesunited.ca.

St. Luke's Community Players

We are proud to be the home of St. Luke’s Community Players. SLCP produces one major musical each year. Auditions are in September or December.

All ages and levels of acting/musical experience are encouraged to audition. For information contact office@stlukesunited.ca.

A Place for Music

St. Luke's has a beautiful open space with a Yamaha C3 grand piano. It is our goal to see it used to to the glory of God in worship and as a space for community art.

Come and see if our space is the place for your community artistic event.
