High School Bursary Program

In 2009, the Church Council of St. Luke’s United Church felt it fitting to honour graduating high school students in our congregation. The Church Council pledged to establish this Bursary as a permanent fund under the direction of the Faith Development Ministry. The Faith Development Ministry recognizes these students for contributions to the vitality of our ministry with each other and to the wider community.

Bursary Objective

The bursary recognizes the milestone that graduating students have reached and shows St. Luke’s appreciation for their ministry. The value of the bursary will be $100 each. The recipients shall be active in our youth group and/or contributing to other aspects of the church’s ministry.

Submissions

Applicants are required to return the application, signed by either the Youth Group Leader or Minister, by April 1 to:
